Sometimes Being a Mom Means....

Hugs, kisses, and snuggles.

Big grins.

Giggles.

"I love you, Mom"s.

Lots of fun.

Special firsts.

Sweet moments.

And other times, being a mom means....

being at the soccer fields where the restrooms are locked when your child has to poop RIGHT now. And having another parent hand you toilet paper out of his truck so that you can take your child into the woods to do his thing behind a tree. And having to stay right there because he's freaked to be in the woods. And trying to keep another brother from peeing on the squatting one. And having to clean up said poop.

Being a mom.

Sometimes sweet....

And sometimes totally disgusting.

Disclaimer: Child pictured is not the woods pooper. Just happens to be a picture at the soccer fields. Or maybe he is the woods pooper. Woods pooper will not be identified to protect the guilty and save on future therapy costs.

LOLOL! I had that joy Saturday night at the county fair...luckily no pooping this time, just had to pee REAL BAD. Of course at this time, we were near no potty's..so I had to take him near the woods, of course where everyone could see him, so he could pee. Good thing he has an adorable butt haha.

Ha, sounds like something I'd have to do with my daughter. When she has to go she means it. My son, on the other hand, can hold it. But she's all dramatic.

Lol! You disclaimer is the best. One of my children went through a phase where they wanted to pee/poop in the bushes as they thought it would be an adventure... yea I ensured that phase did not last long.

At least no one went in their pants, right?

Our practice field for soccer doesn't have bathrooms. Not even a porta-potty! I make both kids go before we leave, but it never fails. Someone has to pee as soon as we get there. And they both refuse to go in the woods. Yes, we have left there with wet pants.

Hilarious!

I've had to do the woods pooping thing. That just didn't come out right. I haven't been in the woods pooping myself, but I've had to resort to that with some of my daughters. The only difference with girls is there's a lot of drama and hysterics because they can't handle the thought of doing that behind a tree. But when you gotta go, you gotta go.

You don't officially get your mom badge until you've helped a child poop in the woods.

My 8-year-old plays pee-wee football. On Saturday at the game, a kid suddenly came sprinting down the sideline in front of us, headed past the end zone and down to a tiny tree. It couldn't have been more than three tall because we could see him giving it a little drink if you know what I mean...but it's a new park and apparently that was his only option. Sadly, the wind caught it and when he came running back, drops were clinging to the backs of his legs and the seat of his football pants. He didn't run back nearly as fast as he left.

When you write things like this...I think of my niece whose baby is now one month old. And I still am left laughing at what is yet to come for this girl. She has already thrown up changing a diaper blow out. True story. Hahaha.

I would have to take the pooper to a gas station or store. There would be no pooping in the woods. No matter the desperation. Motherhood has joys on all ends of the spectrum!!!

Oh yes...sometimes being a mom is disgusting! ;)
