You look great and you are totally Mom Sexy! You could work the pole!

You are so lucky that you love your MIL. I have tried, but I really just don't think it's going to happen unless she gets a total personality makeover!!

I am with you on the Easter candy. Instead of taking my son's snickers bar I just traded it with an extra milky way.

I love the "beach" moment. Too funny!

Pole Dancing Lobster...hmmmm, you might be onto something for the touristy crowd. ahhahaha

I lovelovelove Darius aka Hootie too. Saw him live at Stagecoach in CA last April (meet & greet too) and he is PHENOMENAL live!

My pregnant self and my fiance will be seeing him with Brad Paisley in PGH this summer. He doesn't disappoint...sings a few Hootie songs too! :)

Happy Tuesday, chocolate thief!

p.s. hahahaha on MIL beach. Mine IS the beach.

Ha! A pole dancer. That's funny!

I've used that stuff before and had people asking me why I had glitter all over my arms (AT work!). Embarrassing!!

Your lotion story is funny; I've a similar one. I was rushing to work one morning and noticed that my heels looked awful. So, I grabbed my Ocean Potion After-Sun Lotion bc it is the thickest and lasts the longest.

A few hours later I looked down and my feet looked like I had been running barefoot through red clay!!!

I had grabbed the one with a "natural glow" in it!!! I be to this day some of those kids still talk about the day that I nasty Wal-Mart feet.

Blogger Kmama said...

The one thing I never, ever forget? Sunscreen. For me or my kids. Second/third degree burns with HUGE blisters on your chest will do that to you.

My skin just does not tan. I burn and then it fades to white. *sigh*

Where can I get one of those pole dancing bodies??

LOL at Cub and the "beach".

April 6, 2010 at 9:17 AM
Blogger Corrie Howe said...

Can't believe we are thinking about sunscreen already. I've not given my kids candy for the various holidays in awhile, but they can always count on their grandparents to give them some. My presents are more expensive, less fattening - I think - since they are games for their Nintendos. ;-)

So nice to hear someone loves her MIL.

I couldn't get past the pole dancer one.

*Snorting*

My lotion has that too....oh Shell...I'm going to laughing all day about that one.

Sorry about your sunburn!

April 6, 2010 at 9:41 AM
Blogger Samantha said...

Sorry about the sunburn, and I used to have make up with sparklies in it...not cool. Actually wore it on mine & Paul's first date, and he asked me why my face was shining...haha...

I told him I bought the wrong kind of make up, he asked why I didn't just go and buy the right kind, and I said b/c I didn't want to waste what I bought.

April 6, 2010 at 10:06 AM

Why would any sane person put glitter shimmery stuff and lotion together? I tell ya, the lotion companies these days...what are we going to do about them? We're not eleven years old anymore, and having our skin sparkling is just not right.

Where to begin, Shell??!! Let me first rub the cramps out of my stomach from laughing so much! "beach" ha, ha! My Bear has moment like that too and I cringe.

When I first heard the Darius song I was all excited and talked to the 6-7th graders I work with about it, They thought I had last my marbles when i referred to him as Hootie. one of them thought I had said hottie- it was, in all, a strange conversation.
