Your MIL sounds interesting. LOL

My kids were the same way with the presents. My whole fam commented on how they didn't care that they had so many dang presents to open. They were excited with the first one they got and too occupied to even realize they had so much more to open!

That means you and I must be doing something right :)

Aren't in-laws the best? I didn't get exactly what I asked for either, but I'm not complaining over what I did get.

That's cute about your boys opening 2 presents.

Santa brought the Dudes Snuggies, but only b/c #2 BEGGED for them. I'm so happy he did b/c I seriously wear the crap outta that thing, but only when Hubby is at work. For some reason he thinks Snuggie wearers should be ridiculed and laughed at mercilessly. So I enjoy it in private. With my homemeade biscuits. Mwahahahah!

I think many of us had the same affair the past few weeks.

In total ninja-slim-down mode now...

MIL - ugh! Makes me so happy that we haven't seen nor heard from my MIL in 15 months!

These are so great! I am SO at war with my scale too after Christmas. Of course, I'm sitting here munching on McDonald's fries as I type this.

Your inlaws are a great reminder of why I'm single. Thanks for that!

I got a Snuggie for Christmas. Why? I'll never know.

I don't know what it is with snuggi's! And it is incredibly cute that your kids were happy with the two presents they opened first just because they liked them so much. :) As for the in-laws: some people need to reconnect with the true reason for the season...I felt some of that my Christmas day as well.

Okay, I have a Brother in law that is the same way! Never gets us anything and complains about ANYTHING ANYONE gives him. Needless to say, we don't buy him anything anymore. I asked my husband the other day what his Christmas' were like and he said they opened presents and listened to Jake (the BIL) complain about what he got. Apparently some things never change!
