What It's Like to Have Three Little Boys

You have your hands full I hear all the time.

Monkey is 6, Bear will be 5 this weekend, and Cub will be 3 at the end of the month.  And yes, they do have a crazy amount of energy.

So, what is it like to have three little boys to take care of?

Most days, it doesn't feel like three- it feels more like this:

But, they make me laugh, they give the best hugs, and they love their mama.

And I love them so much!

Even if I do need a bottle glass of wine after they go to bed every night!

I only have 1 little boy and that is more than enough for me! I have no idea how you manage three!

I do see why you'd need that glass of wine though!

I have 3 boys (and a girl) too, and the joy and laughter they bring is a blessing! The worst is the pitying looks I get from people all, "Three boys? Oh. Wow. You must have your hands full!"

Oh this is so true, I have two and I think of you all the time... having one more than me. Honestly they cause 10 times the trouble their sisters ever do. If you're still alive I will be too, right??

Every now & then, I'll only have one of my two for a little while, and I see how much easier being a parent is. I cannot fathom having a third kid at home. Absolutely can not fathom what it would be like.

My hat is off to you.

And, I'm a firm believer that once the bottle is opened, the wine is never as good . . . I can't remember the last time I said "I'll just have a glass" and then stuck to it.

I think boys and girls are hard. It just happens at different times in their lives.

I love the video! For people who ask how you do it, you just do. But I'm sure the wine helps!

I know the feeling! What I don't get is when all of the craziness is going on and each one of them is either whining or crying at the same time how my husband can sit there like none of it is happening. All the while I'm about to loose it. I wish I had more of that ability! I love them like no other and am completely thankful for them, but they need to make me some deal that if one is crying all of them won't start in!

hahahaha!! Oh, I know this feeling all too well. Just this morning we were at Walmart (just myself, the 2yo and the 7mo) and, as I was trying to pay for the diapers we had just run out of (HOW do we go through them so quickly??) and simultaneously chase the 2yo from checkout lane to checkout lane (impulse candy, anyone?), I looked at the cashier and said, "I swear.. I need to clone myself to be able to take the kids out of the house."

Oh, if only..

I cannot.go.out.in.public with my 3 boys without hearing "You've got your hands full!" at least a half dozen times. As a result, I am never ever ever going to say that particular phrase to anyone!

But yes, they make me laugh and they do give great hugs and some days they can be so sweet I can barely believe it.

Well, I have 3 kids. A 7 yr old and 6 yr old twins. Two boys and one girl. I would take a boy any time over a girl! Girls are drama, drama, and drama, whine, whine, whine! My daughter thinks she is the center of the universe and that everything revolves around her. My boys are easy most of the time! .. I have a friend that has 5 boys, SHE has her hands full, haha.

I have to say that I think your boys are a lot more active than my boys! Then you put them all together and it is crazy! (No wonder they go to bed early and eat lots! They use up tons of energy!)

Love them to pieces!! (and you too!)

Last night, after a very long day, and while trying to pack and organize for my weekend, I watched my girlfriend's three boys. She is the one that always bails me out when my kids are sick, so it was a no-brainer. There were 5 children between the ages of 7 and 9 in my backyard (Think your kids are close in age, she, who wasn't supposed to get pregnant naturally, had 3 in 14 months!). HOLY COW it sounded like I had my entire 4th grade class back there!
