Decorating the Man Cave

Hubs has decided to move his office upstairs and use the room downstairs as a....well, he claims it's not a man cave, but that's what it is.  It's not like I'm going to be able to lock myself away in there away from all the noise from our boys.

Santa brought him a tv for that room and we've moved all our gaming systems in there. His hideous turkey table is in there(not a table from Turkey, but a table with turkey feathers and footprint designs on it), along with an old pull-out sofa.

But, it really needs to be decorated.  Not that I should care, since it is the man cave....

I'll pretend like I do care, though. Maybe one of the modern rugs from CSN would look good in there.

Though, they have everything on CSN's sites, so maybe we'll find something else for the man cave.  I'll have a CSN review coming soon.

My husband is so desperate to escape the noise in the house, he made the garage his man cave. It has no heat and floods when it rains lol, but he loves it. Whatever.

My husband's man cave is the garage. He keeps adding stuff. By next winter he wants heat out there.

That table sounds hideous...good luck finding a rug to offset that thing!

My husband has his own music studio to run to when he needs some time off from his time off. What this really means is that he never takes any time off! And when he does, he still tries to "organize" everything...as if I don't spend my life doing that already!!!!

It is good to have some kind of man cave because then you are allowed free license in the rest of the house. At least, that's only fair, right?

Yeah, you're definitely going to have to post a picture of the turkey table now.

My husband has his cave on our basement. It's chilly and floods on occasion but it's one less room I have to clean!

Please get a pic of that table. I hope it's not a bad as I picture in my head.

Mami and I share our 'cave'. The bedroom is where we keep prized items that we don't want 'manhandled' by the monkey. However, that turkey table sounds pretty cool but would probably result in me having my own man cave....haha!

My hubby loves his Man Cave. We occasionally come and crash his cave though, he doesn't seem to mind.

hubs is in the process of transforming the garage to his cave. he has spent 3 days moving things around and putting things in the shed to make more room. he found a remnant piece of carpet at Lowes so he wouldn't have to walk on the concrete now he is on the hunt for a tv and something to keep him warm out there. Good for me now I don't have to watch non stop hunting and UFC fights oh and his deer has been moved out there woohoo no more deer head on my wall

I love decorating! But with a turkey table, I don't know what you'll be able to do - you might have to stay out of the man cave. At least he has a space.

I'm surprised you're "allowed" to decorate the man-cave! ;-) My husband has his man-cave shop/shed building in the back yard and that decorating is alllll him! I'll bet a cool rug would be a great idea!

I'm also very curious to see this turkey table. That'll be a hard item to match, I would think :p

I hope you get a ladycave for the times when you need to clear your head, too ;)

I wish my husband had a man cave to pu tall his stuff in. Although just this morning he was talking about insulating and drywalling the garage (since we don't put the car in it anyway) and turning the part that doesn't have exercise equipment into his "workshop" (he works on computers and we're both tired of them cluttering up the den). Maaaaybe I can get him to move his guitars in there too...hmmm (I dream big, don't I?).

Thanks for sharing about CSN. I've never ordered from them. I have a few rooms that need major help! I like your thought about no sweats or ponytails unless it's the gym. I am going to procrastinate until Finn is old enough to notice. lol. I am sure I will fail as well bc I can put any top, any time of the year with divine yoga pants. They are so forgiving. God bless 'em.
