That's my life book your reading from. No really, I had all those intentions too, maybe a title changes, but you get my meaning. And instead of it being my husband (which it so has in the past) it has been my mother visiting the past three weeks.

I decided that in order to work on my self esteem I needed to throw out the "to do" list. It really wasn't helping me. It just got longer and longer and never did anything but make me feel bad about what was on there. I threw it out. Morale is much better. :D

I hope your hubs starts getting around on his own pretty soon, though. That can be rough when you have to take care of everything by yourself and men can be such big babies.

Hi
I enjoyed your post today. I made an unemployment to do list and have only completed like 3 things on it.
Housework has to be repeated constantly, you will get another chance to do it. lol

Two things:

1. I know a few fairies...they may even skip if ya want them too

2. I'm a list maker too. I find that its best to go ahead and make the list. It is a great stress reliever to wad them up and beam them at the head of whomever is annoying you most *grin*

Yay! I'm not alone! Seriously, my house is crazy (how can it not be with children in it?), I need to get off my butt and get groovin' (but I have to get up so early to get it in), and catching up on blogs? Well, it's just contributing to my rear in gear issue. Misery loves company -- keep it up for me, okay? ;)

The motivation fairy fairly regularly misses my house. It is hard to get too excited to clean when you have four tornadoes in the shape of children that just follow behind you and mess it all up again. My sister introduced me to fly lady (flylady.net) though and it has actually been quite helpful. Good luck!!

Not to laugh but lol...it always works out that way. You never get to what you really want to get to.

If I ever want to get anything done around the house, I usually take a few days off when it's just me around.

Seriously! Why is it that we think when life speeds up times 10 that we're going to get more done than we ever have before?!

I do this to myself ALL.THE.TIME. I set my expectations far too high and forget to take the unexpected into account.

At least we have high hopes, huh?!

Whew, I thought it was only me who had accomplished absolutely nothing since school started. I was going to come home from dropping off the kids at school and immediately do The 30-Day Shred, then shower, then get started on the million projects that need to get done around this house.

So far, none of that has happened. Oh well, there's still 9 more months left to the school year. We both still have plenty of time!!

Sorry about your hubby being out of commission!!
