Survivor Challenge #1

I am one of Supah's Survivors. Each one of us assigned a Hero or a Villain, with our Supah's version of immunity challenges. Lose, and we have to vote one of our tribe off the island.

I am a Hero. Cirie, to be exact. The brainy lady with the sweet smile who secretly pulled off some great blindsides. Yet, no one hated her for it because she had others do the dirty work; she sat back and quietly controlled the game. She did question a little why she was on the Heroes team and I love how she described herself- if you missed it during the show, you will see it in the last line of my poem.

Yes, we had to write a poem. Probably karmic payback for the poems I assigned my former students to write. I'm sorry.

Our first challenge was to make a Valentine's Day card for our host, Harv. MAKE, as in with paper, glue, and other crafty stuff. The former elementary teacher in me was excited...until I realized that we are having a freak snowstorm here in Eastern NC, meaning that I will not be able to get to the store or to storage, where the majority of my craft supplies are.

But, even with recycled-from-one-of-my-boys'-art-projects construction paper, I'm still sending Harv a fabulous Valentine.
