So, my cover is about to be blown.

My safe little bubble of happily spouting whatever I feel like saying without anyone who actually knows me in real life is about to pop.

Because I'm moving very soon.

And, there is someone who reads my blog occasionally who doesn't realize who I am...but that person will probably put the pieces together after she sees wait a second...she just moved and that blogger just moved to the same place...same exact time, same # of/ages of boys...wait a goshdarned second.

I wonder if I will lose a follower after that happens.

I wonder if I will be banned from said person's blog.

Because, irl, we are not friends.

Not enemies by any stretch of the imagination.

And actually, a person whom I used to consider a friend-with-potential....not someone whom I was really close with, but someone whom I thought that I could possibly be good friends with when we got to know each other better.

But, stupid stuff happens.

I didn't do anything.

She didn't do anything.

But, because we were in the same obnoxious mommy group and there was some ridiculous falling out that I still don't understand...we ended up on different sides...not that I actually picked a side, just sort of ended up where I ended up...hell, I don't even know if there really were sides.

I just know that when everything was over(whatever happened, I was clueless), I was put into the category that was not talked to any more by said blogger.

But, because I had no problems with this person and I knew of her blog, after quite a bit of time had passed, I read it, followed it, comment on it, etc.

And now, I wonder what will happen when she figures it out.

If she'll be annoyed.

Or maybe she won't care at all.

It's new for me, having someone who actually knows me read something that I write.

It makes me nervous.

All of you who blog and have your friends read what you write: you are far braver than I.

It just continues on and on from childhood into adulthood, doesn't it? Good luck with the move though!

I only have one or two people in my life that I know of that read my blog. I purposely dont mention it to family & friends because I like to have a place to go where I'm not judged by them and I can talk about them :) Like the time I said I was going to have my FIL arrested for being late to a Father's day BBQ...he would not think that was funny.

So I understand.

Do you think this person may already know who you are in real life though?

Lots of people I know read my blog too.....which is why I love the Blerapy idea. If she dumps you after the "discovery"....she wasn't worth having to start with.

That was the point of this blog. But, it's only one person, so it's okay, as long as she doesn't out me. LOL

I know what you mean. Most of our family and friends back home know the blog. And I HOPE most of them read it. That is the purpose of keeping it. But because they all know who I am, it does make it hard to really speak my mind. There are times I want to say something about what my husband did that really ticked me off, but I know I can't. Or I'll want to say something about something else, and I don't do it, because I know too many people are reading it. Of course, I might be fooling myself and it may just be my parents that read it, but you get the idea.

I've thought about starting one that doesn't mention any names. Believe me, I could tell some stories - past, present, and I'm sure future.

I still might do that. My own little therapy session. How did you start this without your family and friends knowing?

Very good blog by the way. I love reading what you have to say. One of my favorite posts, besides this one, is the one from a few days ago about favoritism. I could have sworn you were talking about my MIL in that post!

Anyway, good luck. Maybe she won't figure it out. And if she does, maybe she'll be mature enough to keep it to herself.

Thanks for reading, Mich!

My family and friends know about my family blog- that just has pics or cute stories about the boys.

But, none of them are really big blog readers and Hubs doesn't pay any attention to what I do on the computer, so it was easy to just not say anything to anyone.
