Scentsy Review and Giveaway

This review has been edited: While I do love the Scentsy products, I can no longer recommend that you buy from the consultant listed in the post due to poor customer service.  I apologize, as I wrote my review based only on my one experience with her.

How I love fresh scents! But, in a house of all boys, except me of course, I have to work at it.


So, I love anything that can help. Candles used to be a love of mine, but it's a little dangerous with kids around. Even putting them up where I think they can't reach doesn't work because my boys are all climbers and there pretty much isn't anywhere that they can't reach.




So, when Meg, an Independent Scentsy Consultant, offered to let me try some Scentsy products, of course I wanted to! In case you aren't familiar with Scentsy: ScentsyCandles are a Unique Candle Warming system that uses a 25 watt bulb to warm the wax slowly into a pool of melted wax that maximizes the strength and life of the scent. Scentsy Candle bars last up to 80 hours and will never release the harmful chemicals that you can find in regular jarred candles.

She sent me a Lei Plug-in Warmer, which I think is so pretty.

Along with these two scents to try:
You Go, Girl: A lighthearted, girlish fragrance of apples, berries, muguet, and linden blossoms.
Black Rasberry Vanilla: Delicious, sun-sweetened dark berries warmed with vanilla.

I really like both scents. They are definitely noticeable, without being overwhelming. The plug-in is $15 and the scents are $5 each.  I've never been big on home parties, to be honest. I get nervous, thinking I'm going to be forced to buy something that I don't really want. So, I ignored some Scentsy invitations. But, now, I get it- and it is worth it! There are so many different scents- wonder which one I'll want to try next....
