A long time ago, I was brainwashed into thinking that the only way to truly clean a floor was to do a Cinderella-cleaning: down on my hands and knees, scrubbing away.


And I actually believed this. After all, when you use a mop, it's hard and messy to wring it out and you end up slopping some dirty water on the floor.


So, I was stuck doing a Cinderella-scrubbing, cleaning up after my boys whom I think are in some sort of competition to see who can be the world's messiest child.

After filling up the bucket, making sure not to fill above the fill line, I dipped the mop head into the bucket.

The next step is to put the mop head flat into the spinner. I was a little concerned about this because it seems so big and you can't have any part of it hanging out of the spinner when you spin it. But, it easily fit.

You step down on the foot pedal a few times- the more you step, the less moisture is left on the mop head.


And yes, it's true- hands-free wringing and no messy puddle! So excited not to have to resort to a Cinderella-scrubbing!
