Also, next time you're accidentally logged into his account, post someting about PMS, cramping and mood swings. That should make for good comments.

My husband had gallstones a few years ago and some cute little twentysomething sonographer had the nerve to tell him that she has heard that gallstones are worse than labor pains. I wanted to jump across the room and tackle her and her little no-child-having-body to the ground. Who says that to a man whose wife (that has had 3 of his children) is sitting 5 feet away????

No defense to the hubs, but I have witnessed the shear pain of a woman who had kidney stones. And she gave birth to 3 children and said that those kidney stones were a hellava lot worse. She passed out from the pain.
I have had kidney pain myself, before having two babies and let me tell you, it's horrible. But MEN are babies. They overdramatize.
Enough about that. Love the FB update. My hubs actually updated some stupid crap on my account once. Not funny!

One of our "date night in" ideas was to play truth or dare. My DH had to post something embarrassing on his own FB page and leave it there for a day. He posted that he liked Miley Cyrus music (and he does--it's the shame of the family). He got 63 comments about it. So funny.

My DH doesn't do lip gloss either but he does steal my chapstick and concealer!

Been there done that with both childbirth and kidney stones. Would do the childbirth thing again in a heart beat over the stones. They suck, and you have nothing to show for the pain when you are done. But, the stone should make him more sympathetic to you when you mention labor pains.

Shell this is hilarious! Your poor husband! I hope he is now feeling better, if a little gay :-)

I would add also check whose email account you are using before sending emails and whose google connect account you are logged in under. My husband has a separate google email account for his geeky gaming stuff and friends and a while ago sent an email to them all not realizing he had been logged out by me so his email was sent to them all by Aging Mommy! It made for a great blog post though :-)

LOL! Poor hubs. What a week.

For the record, my kidney stone was intensely painful. I didn't go full natural childbirth, but was induced and went 45 hours with back labor contractions, and the kidney stone was more painful. It was NON STOP PAIN that felt like I was being stabbed with a knife in my back, over and over and over again. I couldn't breathe or speak.

My contractions were more of a dull pain with intermittent breaks, but the kidney stone was sharp take your breath away pains.

I guess this is one reason why it's good my husband is not on FB. Or maybe it's one more reason why it's too bad... would love to embarrass him in some way.
My husband once put on lipgloss thinking it was chapstick... he looked very pretty!

I agree that it's only fair husbands should have to experience pain somewhat comparable to that of childbirth...though it is never fun when one's ass is a faucet.

Also, I have done the same thing w/ hubs' FB account before! But it was with something stupid, not lipgloss, and I realized it almost immediately and cleared it.

Okay, so MY husband had A kidney stone, and I have never seen someone in so much pain -- and I've had women who have had children *and* kidney stones say that they're comparable! But, like you, I remind The Husband that he got MORPHINE and I had NOTHING!!! (But they also 'nicked' his bladder when they went to retrieve the stone b/c it wouldn't come out, so he also has a c-section scar from where they went into repair the bladder.)
