Survivor Challenge: Scare Someone

For Supah's Island this week, we had to plan a SCARE.

But, since my 5 year old would scream like a girl and sob uncontrollably if I scared him, and my 3 year old would think it was the funniest thing ever, and it would be MEAN to scare the baby, that left me with Hubs.

Now, he is actually deathly afraid of snakes and shivers if someone even mentions one, but I didn't exactly want to go get a snake and let it lose in the house.

So, the NEXT scariest thing would be for me to tell him that, despite the big snip-snipping that he got, I was pregnant again.

So, I went to the Dollar Tree in search of a pregnancy test, figuring that I could find one there and make it look like a positive.

I really lucked out, because they didn't have pregnancy tests, they had ovulation tests and it was the right time of month for that(more information than you ever wanted to know- you're welcome).

So, I set this little beauty on the counter in our bathroom.

Might be hard to see at this point, but there were TWO pink lines there. And Hubs knows what that means.

So, I waited until after he said that he needed to go to the bathroom and I made a mad dash to beat him in there, knowing he'd probably wait for me instead of going downstairs to use another bathroom, and I turned the camera on.

Don't worry, I edited out the part where he actually uses the bathroom and skipped ahead to where he finds the test on the counter.

Sorry for the weird angle, but I had to do it so that it was discreet.

*I used One True Media- sometimes you need to refresh to see the video*

He came out looking really pale.

I couldn't even pretend for a second that it was real.

But, I DID have the cup that he was supposed to go take a "sample" into the doctor's office and NEVER has.

And I laughed and tossed it in the air, saying, "Want to go get tested so we never have a scare like that again?"

Head to Supah Survivor to check out the other "scare" videos.

And keep your fingers crossed for me: I need immunity!
